Montenegro

Montenegro – a very small but extremely beautiful country to visit.

Firstly, you should travel to Montenegro because of it’s wonderful beaches, crystal clear waters of warm Adriatic Sea. And because of the guaranteed sunshine during summer months. Secondly, you should visit Montenegro because of it’s spectacular mountains. In fact, the name of the country comes from two words Monte– mountain and Negro– black. In summer the mountains are covered with dark green forests.

But even in winter it is worth visiting. Snow-capped peaks of rugged mountains against the blue sky and azure sea are stunning and just look great in pictures. There is usually no snow near the coastline but if you head further north, to the mountainous part of the country, you will definitely find snow during the cold winter months.

The best places to see include such cities and towns as Kotor, Sveti Stefan, Budva, Perast, Prchanj, Cetinje (the old capital) as well as Skadar lake and mount Lovcen.
